Booking Terms and Conditions
- To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required. Payment may be made by cheque or direct deposit into our account (preferred method). Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email once this deposit is received.
- Payment of the deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- In the event of a cancellation by the client, the deposit is non-refundable, unless the property is re-let for the entire period of the cancellation. No Administration fee will apply.
- Keys will be made available once the balance of payment has been received in full. To maintain a good accommodation standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate that most guest will respect our property, but to ensure this we state the following conditions:
- Check-In Time is 2.00pm. Please let us know in advance your approximate time of arrival. Check-Out Time is 10.00am to allow preparation time for the next guests. The client must vacate the property by the check-out time unless agreed with the owners in advance.
- The number of guests shall not exceed the number stated on the Booking Confirmation. Additional fees per person, per night apply for extra guests.
- The property is to be left in a clean and tidy condition, including the barbeque. In the event of excessive cleaning requirements, an extra cleaning fee of $75 will be charged to the guests. The owners reserve the right to request a bond of $150, which is refunded within 24 hours of departure, once the owner or cleaner has been through.
- This is a non-smoking accommodation.
- Any damage, breakage of equipment, locks or keys is to be reported immediately and paid for at cost, other than acceptable wear and tear. Please note that our cleaners do an inventory check before and after your stay.
- Parties and functions are not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made with the owners. The rate charged does not allow for extra costs associated with functions such as: cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear and repairs etc.
- Disturbance to our neighbors including excessive noise is prohibited.
- Due to protecting our native wildlife, pets are not allowed.
- Although we consider this a friendly, trouble free area, the Owners/Operators of (HoddlesHideaway) take no responsibility for the guest’s personal property left on the premises.
- The Owners/Operators reserve the right to postpone accommodation to a later date due to the risk of a bush fire event.
- Although the Owners/Operators will endeavor to make your stay as comfortable and safe as possible; yours, your families and friends safety is your own responsibility and you need to be aware of risks associated with staying on an Australian country property such as the possibility of snakes while out walking.
- The property has two dams one at the upper left corner and one near the lower end of the property. Children need to be supervised at all times if going near these dams.
